Glenn Beck - Restoring Honor in America - Part 2
Glenn Beck Restoring Honor in America. On 8-28-10 Glenn Beck built it and the people came. This day proved to all people that we are good people. That we are peaceful people We will continue being who we already are and we will win. The things that are important are honoring Hope Faith and Charity. Glenn gave out merit badges to those who best represented these qualities.
The first badge of merit was presented to Pastor Charles Lewis "C.L." Jackson from Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Houston Texas for his faith. Beck described Pastor Jackson's faithful and sacrificial giving like that of the widow in the Bible who gave everything she had so that others would benefit from her gifts.
Baseball great Albert Pujols received the merit award for hope. Pujols is dedicated to numerous charitable causes and especially the Pujols Family Foundation in St. Louis Missouri that helps children and adults with Down syndrome. He credits his faith in Jesus Christ for his drive to serve others.
The merit for charity was awarded to Jon M. Huntsman author of Winners Never Cheat and founder of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Unable to attend the event Emma Houston accepted the award on his behalf noting his hard work and giving spirit that encourages others to act with integrity and morality regardless of the challenges faced.
